If a homeschooled student is working with their local high school, they can enroll as an 'Early Admissions' student.

Homeschooled students may not enroll in limited-access program courses (e.g., Nursing, Respiratory Care).

Homeschooled students working independently from their local high school are eligible for study in the college's 24 Credit Hour High School Equivalency program.

Please note that prospective students under 16 years of age must follow the steps below:

1. Submit an '' signed by a parent or legal guardian.
2. Submit your immunization records & proof of vaccination (if you have an on-campus presence). In addition to your Immunization record, as of January 2022, all students with an on-campus presence must be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus (At this time, students that are registered 100% online are exempt from this requirement, unless they are using on-campus services). Failure to provide the required documentation will result in administrative withdrawal from seated classes.
3. Complete and pass the English placement essay and meet with an academic advisor, who will enroll the student in an appropriate program. The Admissions office will contact you to help you connect with an advisor. It is the express intention of this policy to admit students who have the intellectual and emotional capacity to benefit from 17cÆð²ÝÊÓƵ’s programs. Some academic programs have restrictive enrollment policies.
4.  Take a Math placement test (if applicable).
5. Submit a certificate of residence (if living outside of Sullivan County, NY)
6. Pay Tuition and Fees. Your tuition and fees must be paid, or a  must be set up before your classes begin.  to find out how to access your balance and make a payment.

Below are the next steps to enroll:

1. Apply for Admission by completing our .

2. Students who are older than the age of compulsory secondary school attendance in New York State (or their home states) must submit one of the following:

• • A letter of permission from the home school district’s superintendent that certifies completion of a program that is an equivalent of the school’s four-year high school course of instruction; or
  • A High School Equivalency Diploma; or
  • Twenty-four (24) credit hours earned from a 24 Credit Hour Program; or
  • A degree from a previous accredited institution; or
  • Evidence of passing five Regents exams, as outlined by the New York State Education Department.

3. Apply for financial aid.

4. Submit your immunization records & proof of vaccination (if you have an on-campus presence).

5. Meet with an advisor to register for classes. The Admissions office will contact you after you have been accepted to help you connect with an advisor.

6. Review your financial aid status (if applicable).
